A Quiet Revolution of Mothers, opting for a new, old Narrative of Natural Mothering

A film and book project focused on the lived experience of mothers and those they love following a real food diet and natural lifestyle for the health of their children

Following my doctoral study of mothers telling their stories within this movement, and with a continuing discovery of communities of parents within the food and farming movement, especially through national conferences such as that of the Weston A. Price foundation, and with associations such as Moms Across America, and the Free Birth Society, a sense of the importance of revealing the stories of this important subculture of mothers and their families overtook me. Themes such as medical freedom, natural birthing, homeschooling, and raising children close to nature emerge. This project is at the very early stages, and we are looking for funding and a team.
